Nothing is Impossible With God !

Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said,
"With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Many a times as human beings we tend to trust man. I don't think it's wrong to trust man but how much we trust is the point here. It's not only how much we trust but it's do we only trust man?

This is a situation that arises when it involves a Doctor and a human being. Doctors are people who can give a person so much of high hopes and at the same time a Doctor can also destroy the faith of a person in God. I don't know if you have heard the normal phrase of doctors " WELL THIS IS SOMETHING THAT CAN'T BE CURED BY MEDICATION AS WE HAVE TRIED OUR BEST BUT IF GOD WANTS HE CAN HEAL YOU"

My dear people, man can give up..man can fail..but Jesus Never Fails.. There is nothing "TOO LATE" for Jesus.

I have 2 testimonies to share here with all of you.
i ) 6 years ago a friend of mine who's a non-Christian, her sister was married for two years but
didn't have a kid. One day I asked her if there's any good news from her sister. She just turned to me and said " DOCTORS HAVE SAID MY SIS. CAN'T GIVE BIRTH TO A CHILD DUE TO COMPLICATIONS".
Immediately I told her, Doctors would have given up but NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. I challenged her that Jesus will give her sister a baby and I began to pray for her.
After a few months one day I was talking to my friend and during the conversation suddenly she said " Hey guess what...my sis is pregnant"...Wow what a mighty God we serve. He also listens to our prayers when we pray for non-believers. After 10 months, my friend's sister gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. God is Good !!!

ii) My 2nd testimony is on the same topic. There was a lecturer in my college who's a member of the Methodist Church. She has been married for quite some time. Due to complications as usual doctors told her that she will not be able to have a child.
What's complication during pregnancy in the eyes of God??is it something difficult for Him to handle?I don't think so...One day as I was talking to her while having lunch, she told me that she is planning to adopt a child in her old age and she wants to transfer all her properties to an orphanage after her death or her husband's death. She was so discouraged because MAN told her that she will not be able to have a child.
As we were talking, I challenged her and said straight to her that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD and I challenged her in the name of Jesus that nothing is too late for God and He will give her a child.

I also started praying for her that God would do a miracle in her life.

It has been a long time since I met her. Lately I met a friend of mine who belongs to the same Church as her. As I was talking to him, something prompted me to ask him about the lecturer. When I asked him, he said "HEY SHE'S EXPECTING A BABY AND IS DUE END OF APRIL 2008 LA"...I was like WOW !!!!!!! God has done it again...ha ha ha..

But still I was not really convinced and sent her a sms. After sending it i just waited and waited anxiously for her reply. I got her reply after a few hours and she said "Yes Edwin I am pregnant and would be due soon. I still remember you challenging me that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD ! Thank You very much for your prayers.

Aren't you readers excited that our God does mighty miracles?? Are you confident now that NOTHING IS TOO LATE FOR THE LORD ??Doesn't my testimony increase your faith that our GOD listens to the prayers of everyone?
God is Good....There are NO two says about that....

Matthew 5 : 11-12

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ.

Situations will not be same all the time and it will also not be like how we want it to be at all time. There will be times we go through storms in life. This is something I have learnt in my ministry and leadership.

There was a day when i attended aDistrict Confernce 3 years ago. As the time came for me to present the MYF plans for the year, I was basically shot with many kind of questions and remarks that made me really really hurt. People were so cruel in the questions and also I was standing helpless which even my dad who was at the meeting felt this was something I don't deserve. I was even directly forced and preassured to cancel all the programmes the youths have planned for the year. As I was being cornered left & right, it came to a time where I just wanted to throw my file and walk out of the meeting(which i actually peacefully did after presenting my plans). I just thank God for the level of patience He gave me.
Guess what guys, after leaving the meeting I was so lost and didn't know what to do until I just started the car, fetched my friend in Sunway and headed straight to the Shah Alam stadium to watch Selangor play Kelantan TNB. You see I can even remember the two teams which played..ha ha ha

Here is where my testimony starts.
I reached home late at night just to avoid seing my parents. This was because I didn't know how to face them and I felt so embarassed. My parents know the way I sacrifice things for ministry. When I slowly drove in and parked the car, next thing I see my mom opening the door and my dad had just slept after waiting for my return since 10pm. The only question my mom asked me in tamil was "ITHU UNAKKU THEVEI YAA??" which means "Do You Deserve This??"..I clearly saw the disapointment & sadness in her face. I just found it very difficult to accept the situation.
I just walked pass her silently, went n took my bath and just got into the room and locked the door. The only thing i knew was I just went on my knees and tears just started flowing non-stop. I didn't know what to pray and how to pray at that situation. I just said "God is this why you called me for??"..I just don't know how to explain to you all..After praying for a while I just slept off.

The next day morning I woke up and read the Daily Bread's passage for the day and it was from Matthew 5 : 11-12. When I read the passage i began to feel a kind of peace coming into me. When I started praying I just felt I was being filled with a different kind of power and all the disapointments, sadness, sorrow, pain just left me. I felt a new GRACE of God filling me. After saying the word "AMEN" I just stood up, took my handphone and just smsed all those who called and encouraged me since the last night. I just said "THANK YOU FOR BEING VERY ENCOURAGING & I AM UP AGAIN..."

The next thing I made sure was, whatever we planned went on well and beyond expectations. God is really Good. He set me free from sadness, sorrow-etc as His words say "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
God will never let you down when you are thuthful to HIM.
Wow God is good.

I am not writing this expecting sympathy. I just want all of you to increase your
faith that in whatever situation, God is in Control. Just trust Him and he will lead you.

My Ministry

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
I take great joy in writing about my ministry. God has been using me in many ways
for the past 8 years in the Tamil Methodist Church especially in the Youth Ministry.
God has raised me from being a Local Church Youth President to the District Youth President and at present the Conference(National) Youth President.

My first experience of leadership was at the age of 16(1999). I was elected Secretary of the TMC Banting MYF. My church is the perfect and best training ground i ever had. I learnt a lot that
tought me how to face challenges in higher level of leadership. I held the ministry of secretary for two years and after that was elected Vice-President for two years.

2003 was the year my God lifted me in my ministry when I was elected the President of Selangor District MYF. Being a District President is not easy and I had to go through so many storms and WOW GOD JUST LED ME THROUGH....

After my 4th year as District President, I was elected the National MYF Secretary. I held the ministry only for a year and the Lord lifted me as the National MYF President.
I only learned one thing. When I was truthful to God in small responsibilities given, the Lord
raised me up step by step to where I am today. It is indeed a prophecy coming through for where I am today.

God is also using me in the General Conference level when I was elected Secretary of the General Conference Youth Council. This is a youth body consisting of all Methodist Churches in Peninsular, Sabah & Sarawak.

I give all glory to God for all my achievements in ministry. If it's not by God's strength, grace and wisdom I would not be able to do many things for HIM. People may praise men in many ways but I strongly give all Glory, Honor & Praise to JESUS and JESUS ALONE.
