God is in Control

Greetings to you in Jesus Name.

I would like to share my preaching experience at TMC Subang Jaya @ 4th May 2008.

I was invited to speak in TMC Subang's service. I was only informed of the preaching on 30th April by the pastor, Rev.Jonathan. As usual I took up the challenge depending on the Lord.

As the TAC Prayer Convention was going on, I rarely had time to prepare. The only time I had for myself to prepare was on 3rd May after 11pm and due to tiredness I just made a basic preparation based on Exodus 20:1-3. It was a very basic outline. I decided to sleep and then wake up at 6am on Sunday to pray and continue with preparation.

Guess what, I just couldnt hear my alarm ringing at 6am and slept off. The next thing I know is my dad woke me up at 7.30am. The service is at 8am. How am I gona reach Subang in 30 minutes? I just took my bath and left home at 7.45am. Remember I have not prepared as well. I was so disapointed with God for allowing this to happen to me. I had no choice but to sms a few servants of God to pray for me. I was basically in tears half the journey. On the way a few Pastors told me not be worried because God is going to do great things. As I received the SMSes I was a little confident.

I manage to reach subang by 8.15am. As I was worshiping, God began to give me points to talk. Came the time for me to preach. I just took the pulpit and let the congregration to a time of Worship. After worship I started preaching. The Lord began to move mightyly in that place. As I ended my sermon I made an altar call. Rev. Jonathan and Pastor John Sunder prayed for those who came forward. I tell you the Lord's anointing was so powerful. People were filled with the Holy Spirit, slained and many wept. God indeed touched many on that day. Many came to me and said God realy spoke to them and they experienced something different on that day. All Glory to God !

It was a brand new experience for me. Please continue to uphold me in your prayers as I continue to serve God. I do believe God has great plans for me. Also pray for God to teach me make the correct decisions in life.
